ACTION: Meet your Block Captain
Thank you to our Block Captains who have volunteered to walk door to door to our Village neighbors to make sure they are informed on where to find updates on the proposed CGV Legacy project. If you have not had the opportunity to speak with your Block Captain, hopefully they left a packet of information on your doorstep. Block Captains efforts include making sure our neighbors are aware of the proposed project, help answer questions they may have and direct them to where to find current information. It is not the intent of the Block Captains to try to push our agenda – but to make sure every homeowner and resident is aware of the proposed development.
Not sure about door-to-door soliciting or dropping unsolicited materials at houses. Since this is blocked from external vendors via the gated access, residents might not be expecting other residents to perform this type of activity. Perhaps, set up a card table outside the block captain’s house and sit there as an information booth for interested parties on a weekend afternoon instead? Not sure. Good to keep the community informed in any case.
